What
methods of payment do you accept?
We currently accept personal checks 15 days in advance of
arrival only, with your Social Security number; traveler’s
checks, VISA, MasterCard and Discover cards are also accepted.
Payments must be made in a single payment from one individual.
Will
you confirm my deposit?
You will receive a confirmation letter by mail after Young’s
Suncoast has received your deposit. Please take time to
verify the arrival/departure dates, reserved accommodations
and rent amount due. You should contact us immediately
if you find a discrepancy; otherwise we will assume all
information is correct.
Your confirmation letter
is also your lease agreement. Please read it carefully,
sign it and return it to us at check-in.

Am
I guaranteed the unit I reserve with my deposit?
Young’s Suncoast reserves the right to substitute comparable
accommodations without notice or liability should the reserved
unit be out of order or not available for any reason. When
comparable accommodations are not available, renter will
have the option of selecting from available properties at
the published rate, or receive a complete refund of the
reservation deposit and all pre paid rent.
Under some circumstances,
rates may also be subject to change, depending on the date
your reservation was made.
What
is your cancellation policy?
If it is necessary to cancel your reservation, with more
than 15 days advance notice for condominiums or 90 days
for beach houses, duplexes (30 days in off-season) and 90
days for all monthly rentals, all deposits are refundable,
less a $30.00 cancellation fee and except for the $30.00
processing fee. Payments with less than the specified number
of days notice will be held for lost rent and result in
forfeiture of the deposit, fees and all pre-paid rent, unless
the rental unit is rebooked for the same rental period and
amount of rent due and payment of this rental has cleared.
When
do I check in and check out?
Check-in is between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM on scheduled arrival date. Check-out is prior
to 10:00 AM on your scheduled day
of departure.
What
if I will be arriving after business hours?
Please call us if you are planning to check in after 5:00 p.m. All rent and applicable fees must be paid
in advance as per policy in order to arrange for an after
hours check –in.
What
furnishings do condominiums include?
Most of our condos come equipped with standard household
furniture and appliances: coffee maker, microwave, toaster,
TV, etc. Because the properties are privately owned, décor,
style, color scheme, and furnishings will vary.
What
do I need to bring and what will Suncoast provide?
What we provide:
Bed linens, blankets, pillows (a linen fee will be charged
for monthly rentals)
Dishes, glassware, pots, pans, utensils
Initial supply of bath towels in condos based upon occupancy
Outdoor furniture (most units)
What to bring:
Beach towels, beach chairs,
Personal items, including all paper products
Laundry and dishwashing detergent
Is there a maximum number of vehicles allowed
at a condominium?
Most condominium associations allow one vehicle per unit.
Many provide for a maximum of two vehicles for two or more
bedroom units. Please check with a Young’s Suncoast reservationists
to confirm the policy of a particular property. Condominiums
and most houses prohibit boats, trailers, jet skis and motor
homes. Please consult your reservation agent should you
wish to bring any of these types of vehicles.
What Items are available
for rental through your office?
Young’s Youngs Suncoast Realty & Vacation Rentals can recommend local rental services who
can provide everything from beach chairs to beach umbrellas
to baby beds. We do not rent these items ourselves, but
we can provide information on local sources.
Are
pets allowed?
Pets are allowed only in specifically identified pet friendly
properties and with applicable non refundable pet fees.
Pets are not allowed in any property not specifically identified
as pet friendly.

What
about fireworks?
Sorry, but fireworks are prohibited at all rental properties.

Can
I make long-distance phone calls from the rental property?
Most of our properties block direct long-distance calling.
You can use your calling card, call collect or use a third-party
billing. The Gulf Shores Plantation, does allow long-distance calls. You must visit
their offices to pay for any calls made.

Can
we grill out on our balcony?
Fire marshal and condominium association rules prohibit
the use of grills on balconies and decks. However, most
condominiums have a designated area for grilling or picnicking.

What
happens if we break something in the unit?
All reservations include a mandatory accidental damage waiver
fee. The person named on the reservation and all guest
staying in the property will not be obligated to pay for
reported accidental damage up to a maximum total of $1,500
per stay for houses and duplexes and $1,000 for condominiums.
Damages in excess of the waiver amount and intentional damage
will be the responsibility of the renter.

How
do I check out?
We ask that you do a quick, light cleanup before you leave
the unit. Please bag and dispose of trash, load and start
the dishwasher (using dishwasher detergent only), and sweep
the floors. Set the air conditioner to 75 degrees and make
sure all windows and doors are locked.
You must then return
all keys to any Young’s Suncoast office.

What happens if there is a storm
or inclement weather or if I decide to depart early?
No refunds are allowed for early departure due to
storms or inclement weather or other personal circumstances.

What happens if there is a hurricane or tropical storm?
PRIOR TO ARRIVAL - If State or local governmental authorities
(not the media) issue a Tropical Storm Warning for the immediate
area, to include a Voluntary Evacuation Order or a Hurricane
Warning for the immediate area, you will receive a refund
of your deposit and any pre-paid rent, but not the reservation
processing fee. If you decide to cancel your reservation
without the above orders having been issued, all amounts
paid will be forfeited unless the property is re-rented
for the same amounts and such amounts clear the bank.
AFTER ARRIVAL - If governmental
authorities issue the above described orders during your
visit and you decide to depart, the pro-rated amounts paid
will be refunded within a reasonable time after you depart.
Other circumstances and requirements may apply and you will
be provided specific details in such event upon arrival,
should a Tropical Storm or Hurricane approach the immediate
area.
